Heather, you are a shining star along with
Patrick. You will be sorely missed at our
Taunton trips, but you will always be
remembered. I still remember the very first time
we met, you came running open arms at me in the
Travelodge and gave me the biggest hug, it was
like I had known you for ever.
We were good friends at a distance but thanks to
the wonders of Email, mobile & of course The
Hinge & Bracket Google Group we have always kept
in touch.

Our darling Heather visited us over here in France
on many occasions, and we think it is fair to say
that she had a wonderful time here - as she did
everywhere she went. It is tragic that someone who
got so much out of life, and put so much into it,
should be stopped in her tracks so quickly and so
unexpectedly. We will all miss her. She was
wonderful company, and of course, game for anything.
We remember especially the nasty bruise she received
on her ample (and much-admired) bosom, after
insisting that she have just one more ride on the
dodgems - Bastille Day, 2011.

How very sad. We only met at 3 Taunton gatherings,
but like others have said Heather was at ease and in
sync with all present. Her devotion to the
remembrance of Patrick was superb. The photograph of
Heather wearing one of my Patrick hats is going to
be an outstanding memory of a fun lady for years to
come. I have only met Stephen from her family, and
send to him my condolences. Hopefully he will be
able to join us next year when I am sure he will be
most welcome, and be able to share many memories of
a special lady with those present.
