Heather Shepherd passed away on Wednesday 1st August 2012.
In June she was diagnosed with Motor Neurone
Disease.
She was a lovely lady and I am proud so say I met
her in 2010, 2011 & 2012 at our Annual trips to
Taunton in Memory of Patrick Fyffe.
She was so full of life and I still can't believe this awful disease took her from us so quick.
The 2012 Taunton Tribute was organised by her
sheer determination to make sure everything was
sorted and perfect and that everybody was made to
feel welcome.
Without her help, who knows how it would have turned
out.
A Special Lady taken far too soon.
Now she will also be remembered every year we go to
Taunton.
I know that she would have really enjoyed the
plans we are making for the 2013 trip to Taunton.
She will be dearly missed from our 'little
gatherings'. Already missed from the Google Group.
Rest In Peace Heather.
Love Always
Paul Dunford

A True, kind, generous lady with a heart of gold.
She took no flack from anybody.
Taken by a nasty disease.
Always in our memory and hearts.

Heather told me in June that she had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and I wasn't really sure what this was. I found this website very good and it explained a lot about it.
I can't believe someone so lovely was struck down with this.
will always be remembered at our Taunton Gatherings every May.
