The 7th trip to Taunton Deane Crematorium on

10th - 11th May 2010.

Comments

This year we travelled to Taunton and stayed at a Travelodge along with Paul Bishop, Anne Wilson & Heather Shepherd. We had a good get together in the evening and went to the Hanksridge Arms pub next to the hotel for a meal and drinks.

We all booked out at 10am and went to Sainsbury's for a nice breakfast and then made our way to Taunton Deane Crematorium.

We met up with Jane & Terry, Paul Ludbrook, Denis Huxley and we got on with cleaning Patrick's grave and planting up the new plants and flowers whilst we waited for the florist to arrive.

You will see a lot of photographs of an outstanding selection bought with this years donations.

Thank you to everybody who donated.

to see money raised for 2010

Hi Paul

Great show at the cemetery Tuesday - I know Patrick would have been delighted.  And lovely to see Heather and Anne - whom we shall be seeing again on Friday!

Thanks again for all you do.

Best wishes

George and Louie

With record donations for flowers this year, I ordered lots of lovely flowers to place on Patrick's Grave this year.

Meeting myself, Ryner & My Cousin Matthew there were, Anne, Gabi, Andy, Laurence & His 2 Friends.

We all placed the flowers, planted and watered the flowers that were planted at the end of the grave and took lots of lovely pictures. The weather was the best ever.

Myself, Ryner & T.J.(Rottie)went down to Taunton on a very wet 6th anniversary. Again the donations from fans were excellent & I went overboard on the flowers again this year, thanks to all of the fans that donated.

It was a shame it was a rainy day again but we still had a nice time.

Myself, Ryner & T.J. (Rottie) & Kathy went down to Taunton on a very wet 5th anniversary and there we met Andy Colcombe who drove down from Manchester to pay his respects. We went overboard on the flowers this year, thanks to all of the fans that donated.

It was a shame it was a rainy day but we still had a nice time.

Myself & Ryner went down on that cold day to see the corrected headstone and the bench which had both been fitted that week.

Thank you also to Paul Rayson who kept me informed of the Bench progress. Below is the receipt for the cost of the bench.

Myself, Ryner & Kathy drove down to Taunton on the most pleasant day with the car full of flowers to place on the grave. We had such a lovely day, we sat and gathered our thoughts and it was then that Kathy came up with the idea of getting a bench put up using the money that had been raised the year before.

It was a very moving day for me on that first visit to Patrick's resting place. A lovely headstone, although his third name was spelt wrong to which George informed me of when I sent him the pictures.

RIP Patrick
